The Gyeonggi provincial government implements a policy to minimize the damage caused by the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

• 3) Proving support for workers in the business fields which have been affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak, local MEs and disadvantaged groups in work in areas with reported confirmed cases by expanding the implementation of the projects in the creation of a public service employment.

• 5) Integrated management of the difficulties and damage to SMEs and MEs by setting up ‘The Reporting Center’ in Gyeonggi Business & Science Accelerator and Gyeonggi-do Market Revitalization Agency : Inquiries: Gyeonggi-do Market Revitalization Agency (MEs and the Self-employed Section T. 1600-8001)
• 6) If the current situation is prolonged, the government plans to consider local tax reductions, extension of the deadline for submitting acquisition/registration tax and deferment of collection/disposition for failure in (tax) payment for business operating in areas affected by outbreaks or businesses affected by the virus.
